[From Series Three Bloody Harvest]
Born in London England, in 1934, Grahame Woods left school at sixteen to pursue a career as a newspaper photographer. He came to Canada in 1955 and began a career with the CBC which included stints as a playwright, director, and producer of documentaries. In 1971, he began freelancing.
Woods has won three Wilderness Awards (1965, 1966, and 1969), a Canadian Film Award (1966), and an Actra Award for Dramatic Writing (1974). Bloody Harvest was his first novel.
