ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Peter Such is joint co-ordinator for degree programs in Canadian Studies at Atkinson College, York University. In the past he has taught at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute, Cambrian College (North Bay), and Erindale College, University of Toronto, where he was writer-in-residence for two years.

Previously he has published Fallout, a novel set in a Northern Ontario mining community, and Soundprints, biographies of six contemporary composers. His poetry has appeared in a number of Canadian magazines, and he himself founded Impulse, a quarterly in Canadian writing.

Mr. Such lives in Toronto with his family.
