Ten Canadian poets who have made a significant contribution to contemporary poetry and whose work has achieved considerable importance in the Canadian literary scene are included in this second volume of the “Poets of Canada” series begun with Poets of the Confederation. Dr. Milton Wilson of the University of Toronto has contributed biographical sketches to introduce the work of each poet as well as a general essay on contemporary Canadian poetry.
